Jason and Sammy first met at work when they were still teenagers. Back in their day, they spoke frequently together online outside of work through AIM. Over time they came to realize that they shared similar hobbies and somehow many of the same friends in town despite never having crossed paths. Those same online chats turned into in person hang outs, those hang outs got more frequent in their spare time till one day, Jason decided to ask Sammy out.

Swing and a miss.

The timing was poor, Sammy was dealing with some personal issues but Jason took it in stride. Some months later, after numerous hang outs, a concert here and there, Jason tried to give it another shot and asked her again.

Strike two.

Some more time passes here, and at this point Jason is second guessing himself. Maybe it's just not meant to be he figured, but at the encouragement of some friends, he asks again soon after New Years.

She said yes!

Now, here they are, 16 years later. Jason loves to give Sammy a kiss on her way to the gym at 3AM and Sammy hopes Jason doesn't fall off a cliff mountain biking.

They'll have been together 17 years in total by the time they tie the knot, happier than ever, ready to start the next chapter in their lives together.
